I started working as a camera trainee for the Cruet Company in 1998, leaving there as senior assistant in 2003. From 2003-2005 I was a successful freelance assistant working on various commercials and programmes around the world including shoots in The Maldives, Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and the USA. In 2005 I became a camera operator and started shooting Barefoot Contessa. This show has won several Emmy awards as well as numerous other recognised accolades and is a consistently high rated show on Food Network – I’ve also shot The Pioneer Woman since 2011 currently the Food Network’s number 1 cooking show and a globally popular programme.

I’ve shot numerous commercials for major brands including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Asda.

I was asked to shoot the stills for Ree Drummond’s cookbook “The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Come and Get It”. The book was a tremendous success and debuted at Number 1 on the New York Times Bestsellers list. It spent 7 weeks at #1 and went on to be the biggest selling cookbook of the year

Over the past two years I have shot Searching For Italy with Stanley Tucci and Searching For Mexico with Eva Longoria, both for CNN
